Results: Hudson Valley Ribfest

The smoke has cleared and the results are in, neither The Smoke 'N Barrel nor Ma's Que Crew won. We did, however, have a great time despite the fly epidemic and the torrential rain.
Brian was in charge of the chicken and the brisket and I was in charge of pork and ribs. Neither one of placed in the top ten in the four categories.

Overall: 39 out of 70

Chicken: 28 out of 70
Ribs: 58 out of 70
Pork: 26 out of 70
Brisket: 33 out of 70

Our best score was in pork, which was my responsibility. It seems that my pork recipe is good, but not championship good. I will continue to work on tweaking my pork cooking method over the winter so that it is grand champion caliber by the spring.
